Home of the world's highest
tides, the Bay of Fundy is a
unique ecosystem that attracts millions of migratory birds,
whales and abundant marine life. It is one of the great
natural places left on earth. Twice daily the bay empties
exposing broad sweeping tidal flats, gem stones and fossils,
and 121/2 hours later the bay is refilled by the rushing
tides that reach more than 50ft. (15m) above the low tide. |
